ABOUT ME
About Mr. Tichon
Hello, my name is Brian Tichon. This year begins my 3rd year in teaching. I was in public schooling for my first 2 years and I am excited to begin my journey at St. Michaels School. I will be the 7th & 8th grade mathematics and Algebra teacher. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Middle Childhood Education from Kent State University. In my spare time I coach peewee soccer, watch Comic book centered T.V shows with my wife and chase after our two children. I also spend many hours thinking of new STEM projects to bring into my Mathematics curriculum. :D
You can find me in my classroom any day after school, probably eating Doritos, if you need help with any math problems. I am always willing to help my students morning or afternoons.
My Office Hours are 2:45 -3:30 (I have after school duties). If necessary, email me and I can be there till 4:30 p.m. some afternoons, or meet with students as earlier as 7:25 a.m.. As always, students come first. :D
We had a great showing at the open house on August 30th. I was happy to meet the parents that came in. Thank for visiting the classroom! Maybe for the first round of parent teacher conferences in September I can meet even more of you. :)
